1. Who we are and what these terms cover

1.1 Lumina Soul Therapy is the trading style of Roswitha Gaudion-Roseleur, a sole trader registered in England and Wales. Any reference in these terms to "Lumina", "Lumina Soul Therapy", "we", "us" or "our" is a reference to that sole trader.

1.2 These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern all purchases made through our website and through our associated sales platform Systeme.io. They apply to: (a) digital products (online courses, recorded sessions, workbooks, journals); (b) physical products (printed journals, toolkits, and any other tangible goods); (c) live group programmes, workshops, and events; (d) one-to-one services (including Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) sessions).

1.3 Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by them.

1.4 We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply to that order.

2. Eligibility

2.1 You must be at least 18 years old to purchase any product or service from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over.

2.2 Our services (coaching, RTT, EFT, workshops, group programmes) are intended for adults only.

2.3 Our products and services are designed for personal use by the named purchaser. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or psychological condition and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychiatric, or psychological care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your GP, NHS 111, or the Samaritans (116 123, free, 24/7).

3. Ordering and contract formation

3.1 The presentation of products or services on our website does not constitute a legal offer. Your order is an offer to buy from us on these Terms.

3.2 A contract between you and us comes into existence only when we send you an order confirmation email and/or grant you access to the digital product. We may decline an order before that point (for example, if a payment cannot be authorised).

3.3 You are responsible for ensuring that the information you give us (name, email, billing address) is accurate. We are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect information.

4. Price and currency

4.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT. As of the date of these Terms we are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on top of the listed price.

4.2 Prices may be changed at any time before you place an order. Once an order is placed, the price confirmed in your order confirmation will not change.

4.3 Prices do not include any currency conversion fees, bank charges, or card issuer fees that may be applied by your bank or card provider. These are your responsibility.

4.4 From time to time we may offer promotional pricing (including the founding-member rate for The Inner Light Process). Promotional pricing applies only to orders placed during the stated promotional window and cannot be applied retrospectively.

5. Payment

5.1 Payment is due at the time of order unless you have chosen an instalment option offered by us.

5.2 Payments are processed through Stripe, our payment services provider. Stripe is integrated with our sales platform Systeme.io. By placing an order, you agree to Stripe's terms of service as well as these Terms. We do not store your full card details on our systems.

5.3 We accept the card types supported by Stripe at the time of purchase. We do not accept American Express unless specifically advertised on the checkout page.

5.4 For instalment plans, you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your chosen payment method on each scheduled payment date until the plan is paid in full. If a payment fails, we will notify you and may suspend your access to the product or service until payment is received.

5.5 If any sum remains unpaid when due, we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue amount at the rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate from time to time, calculated from the due date until payment is made in full.

6. Delivery and access

6.1 Digital products — access details (login, link, or download) will be sent to the email address you provided at checkout, normally within a few minutes of payment, and at the latest within 24 hours. If you have not received access within 24 hours, please contact us at luminasoultherapy@gmail.com.

6.2 Physical products — we ship to the delivery address you provide at checkout. Please check your address carefully, including the postcode. Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you provided. If a parcel is lost in transit, we will work with the courier to either replace the goods or refund you.

6.3 Shipping costs, where applicable, will be shown to you at checkout before you confirm your order.

6.4 Title (ownership) of physical goods passes to you once we have received full payment.

7. Right of cancellation (cooling-off period) for consumers

7.1 If you are a consumer (i.e. buying as an individual for personal use, not as a business), you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. This is in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

7.2 Exemption — digital content downloaded or accessed immediately. As soon as you download, stream, or otherwise access a digital product, you acknowledge that you lose your right of cancellation in respect of that digital product, in line with Regulation 16(m) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We will ask you to confirm this at checkout by ticking a box before payment is taken.

7.3 Exemption — sealed audio, video, or recording software. If we supply a sealed recording (e.g. a CD or USB) that has been unsealed after delivery, your right of cancellation is lost.

7.4 To cancel a non-digital product or a service that has not yet started, please email us at luminasoultherapy@gmail.com within 14 days of your order, telling us you wish to cancel. You may use the model cancellation form at the end of these Terms, but you do not have to.

7.5 If you cancel within the 14-day window in line with this clause, we will refund you the price you paid using the same payment method you used, within 14 days of the day you tell us you wish to cancel.

8. Our voluntary 14-day refund promise for The Inner Light Process

8.1 In addition to your statutory right of cancellation under clause 7, we extend the following promise for The Inner Light Process course:

If, within 14 days of joining The Inner Light Process, you decide it is not for you, email us at luminasoultherapy@gmail.com and we will refund your full payment, no questions asked.

8.2 This promise is independent of your statutory rights and is offered at our discretion. It does not affect any other rights you have under these Terms or under English law.

8.3 Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving your cancellation email.

9. Late cancellations, no-shows and rescheduling (services)

9.1 For one-to-one services (RTT, EFT sessions), we require at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule a session. Sessions rescheduled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notice (no-shows), are chargeable in full and are non-refundable.

9.2 For live group programmes, workshops and events, your place is non-transferable to another date unless we agree in writing.

9.3 If we have to cancel or reschedule a live session, group programme or event, we will offer you an alternative date or a full refund. We will not be liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs you have arranged.

10. Cooling-off waiver for live services

10.1 If you book a one-to-one session, group programme, workshop or event with a start date within 14 days of your order, you confirm at checkout that you wish the service to begin before the end of the cooling-off period, and you acknowledge that if you later cancel, we may charge you for the service we have already provided.

11. Intellectual property

11.1 All content provided through our products and services — including course videos, audio recordings, written materials, workbooks, journal designs, frameworks, the Annual Letter to Yourself exercise, and any associated brand assets (logos, designs, brand names) — is owned by Roswitha Gaudion-Roseleur (trading as Lumina Soul Therapy) or licensed to us, and is protected by UK and international copyright and trade mark law.

11.2 When you purchase a product or service, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the content for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. This means you may view, listen to, and work through the materials, but you may not: (a) copy, reproduce, share, upload, distribute, sell, or publish any of the content; (b) record, broadcast, stream or transmit any live or recorded sessions; (c) use the content to train any artificial intelligence model, software, or algorithm; (d) use our trade marks, brand names, logos, or the names "Lumina Soul Therapy" or "Rise Into Your Light" without our prior written permission.

11.3 Any breach of this clause may result in your access being revoked without refund and may give rise to legal proceedings.

12. Testimonials and results

12.1 Testimonials and case studies shared on our website, in our courses, or in our marketing reflect the experiences of individual clients. They are not typical and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same or any results.

12.2 Outcomes from RTT, EFT, coaching and our courses depend on many factors outside our control, including your own engagement, circumstances, and commitment.

13. Therapy-specific disclaimer

13.1 RTT, EFT, coaching and related services we provide are complementary therapeutic practices. They are not a substitute for medical, psychiatric, or psychological diagnosis or treatment.

13.2 We do not diagnose, prescribe medication, or treat mental health conditions as defined in UK clinical terms. If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, please inform them before engaging with our services.

13.3 You agree that you are participating in our services voluntarily and that you are responsible for your own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing throughout.

13.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful.

14. Limitation of liability

14.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you under or in connection with any order will not exceed the total price you paid for that order.

14.2 We will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data.

14.3 Nothing in this clause 14 limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. Events outside our control

15.1 We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations that is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including internet or platform outages, payment processor failures, strikes, government action, illness, force majeure, or acts of God.

16. Complaints

16.1 If you have a complaint about a product, service or any aspect of your experience with us, please email us at luminasoultherapy@gmail.com with the word "Complaint" in the subject line.

16.2 We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to respond fully within 14 working days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and give you a revised timeframe.

16.3 These Terms do not affect your right to bring a claim in the English courts or to use alternative dispute resolution schemes available to UK consumers.

17. Privacy and your data

17.1 We process your personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

17.2 Our full Privacy Policy, including what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, complaint), is published on our website at https://www.riseintoyourlight.co.uk/privacy.

17.3 As a small business (sole trader), we are exempt from paying the ICO data protection fee, but we are still required to comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

17.4 For any data-related questions or to exercise your rights, contact our data lead at luminasoultherapy@gmail.com You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

18. Email marketing

18.1 If you sign up to our newsletter or download a free resource, you will receive marketing emails from us. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us at luminasoultherapy@gmail.com

19. Acceptable use of community spaces

19.1 If you join any private community, forum, group chat, or hosted space as part of your purchase (for example, the private community associated with The Inner Light Process), you agree to behave respectfully and lawfully. We may remove you from the community and revoke your access (without refund) if your behaviour is abusive, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, illegal, or otherwise inappropriate, in our reasonable judgement.

20. Governing law and jurisdiction

20.1 These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

20.2 You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except that nothing in this clause prevents either of us from seeking injunctive relief in any competent court.

21. Other important terms

21.1 If any provision of these Terms is held by a court to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

21.2 Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.

21.3 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your order, and supersede any previous communications or understandings.

21.4 You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms to anyone else without our written consent.
